The analysis, diagnosis and treatment of people using crystal healing has developed and advanced rapidly over the last couple of decades.
Crystal healing is a natural therapy that is clearly structured and easy to implement. This section offers you explanations for the established healing effects shown to exist within crystals. It is a therapy which has been adopted by many alternative healers.
You will be able to improve your health and use the treatments described in order to relieve and heal a wide range of complaints without professional help. However, it must be stressed that these crystal remedies are not a substitute for either your doctor or other medical practitioner. It is important for you to take responsibility for your own health.
Crystals are particularly good for daily use, as the treatments discussed here are to a large extent has no adverse effects and are non toxic; provided that you apply the crystals remedies in a responsible and correct way. Another advantage of this method of healing is that germs and viruses cannot become resistant to these healing methods.
Crystal water and Crystal essence (crystal homeopathic remedy) are an excellent way to use the healing power of crystals, and several crystals can be combined provided they are compatible. The water and essence are ideally suited to small children as they can be gently rubbed on the skin or sprayed into a room. The water intended for older children and adults can be drunk as is, or the recommended number of drops of the essence added to a glass of water and sipped or taken from a dropper bottle and placed under the tongue.
Crystal remedies are made by transferring the subtle energies and minute concentrations of the mineral constituents of the crystal into water which then stores the vibrations and transfers them to the physical or subtle bodies in exactly the same way that a homeopathic remedy works.
Guidelines for the the crystals that you are going to use to make the crystal water are as follows:
Crystals that are not for placing directly into purified water; but can be used for the indirect method with certain restrictions are as follows:
The following are crystals not suitable to making crystal water:
Some crystals that can be used in external applications without any problems, may release toxic substances if they are placed directly in water. Therefore these crystals need the indirect method to make crystal water. If you are in any doubt about a crystal use the indirect method to make the crystal water.
Crystals that are not to be placed in water
The number of crystals you will need to make the crystal water depends on several factors
The desired intensity of the crystal. Does it need to be gently or intensely effective. This depends on your health and constitution, If you re fairly robust you will be able to take a stronger crystal water, but if you are sensitive you will probably be better with a weaker crystal water. This depends on the number of crystals you use to prepare the water. There are several factors to take into consideration. The desired intensity, Does it need to be gentle or intensive. The intensity of the crystal water increases significantly according to the number of crystals placed in the distilled water.
It also depends on the type of crystal that you are going to use. If you are using highly potent crystals, such as diamond, between one to three stones 3 to 4 mm in diameter in a litre of water is sufficient. In the case of peridot, which is also potent, three to five fingernail sized stones per litre of water will be enough. With amethyst which is a gentle stone, you can use a handful of stones in a litre of water.
The quality of the crystal is also a factor, a dark green aventurine is more intense than a light green one.
The intensity of the crystal water is also determined by the surface area of the stones, therefore several small stones will have a greater surface area and a more intense effect than fewer, larger stones. Similarly, crystals with a rough surface will produce a more intensely effective crystal water than smooth crystals.
effects and application
Besides healing your mind, body and spirit, crystal water can be used to
Initial reactions to the crystal water could be a brief recurrance of some of the symptoms. This is an indication that the treatment is having an effect, so rather than saying that it isn't working, it is a reassuring sign that the healing process has begun.
Crystal Water preparation methods
I have chosen two methods of preparing crystal water, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Generally speaking neither of the processes is better of worse than the other. The method that you choose depends on the time available and the intensity you require.
First cleanse the crystals, this process can take time, so remember to plan ahead. Thoroughly cleaning the crystals is a good idea, particularly if your crystals are new or haven't been used for a long time.
Ideally for the final rinse you can use a little of the non carbonated spring water or distilled water that you are going to use to make the crystal water.
Now you can begin to make the crystal water with whichever method is best for you.
Position the crystals in the selected container and then pour in the water. You don't want to put you hand or other tools in the water to reposition the crystals as you will have to start again as you have just added impurities into the process.
When decanting the crystal water into a brown, green or dark blue clean and disinfected glass bottle with a sealable lid; make sure that no tiny fragments of crystal that might have broken off remain in the water. You do this by pouring the crystal water through a clean sterilised tea strainer or filter the water through unbleached coffee filter paper or other form of sterile filter paper using a clean glass funnel as a plastic or steel funnel will adversely affect the quality of the gem water.
Then store the bottle in a cool, dark place. You can then store your crystal water for up to a week, if you don't store it properly the crystal water must be used within 24 hours.
Once the crystal water has been decanted, the crystals should be cleaned then dried thoroughly to prevent the growth of bacteria or algae. If you are preparing crystal water on a continuous basis, the crystals involved should be cleaned at least very 10 days. You can also have a couple of sets waiting in the wings, but make sure that they are clean have been stored properly and ready to go.
Getting the dosage of your crystal water is also important, because once swallowed the water takes its natural course through the body. It can't simply be removed. When taken internally, the water can also act faster and more intensely on the body than using the crystals externally. The best method on beginning using crystal water is to start with small doses to be sure of the effect before progressing to the full dosage. These are the recommended dosages unless otherwise indicated.
In addition to the size of the dose, the frequency with which the crystal water is taken can also play an important part. If you are using the intense crystals, rather than taking the dose in one go place the crystal water in a bottle and sip it during the day. Place the crystal water in the bottle and top up with distilled water.
making crystal water using the direct method
place the desired crystals in the clean and disinfected glass bowl, Then pour in one litre of the non carbonated or distilled water.
Cover the bowl with clear plastic wrap or a glass lid and place it aside for two to eight hours depending on the strength of crystal water that you need.
This method of preparation is simple and can be carried out almost anywhere. In an emergency you could also use an ordinary drinking glass with the crystals.
Because the crystals and the water are in direct contact, you must be careful never to use toxic or stones that dissolve in water to make crystal water this way.
Place spring water or distilled water into a clean and previously disinfected glass bowl or a large jar and place your clean crystals into the water. Cover the container with clear plastic or a glass lid and place it inside or outside in the sunlight for several hours or the bowl could be left in the moonlight overnight.
making crystal water using the indirect method
Place the crystals in a small clean and previously disinfected small glass bowl, test tube or drinking glass then stand that bowl inside another larger bowl that has enough water in it to raise the water level up above the level of the crystals that are in the inner container. With this method you can top up the water in the container and keep producing crystal water continually. Cover both containers with plastic wrap or some other impervious covering. Let the containers stand for four to ten hours depending on the strength of the crystal water that you need.
You can prepare crystal water by this method using any type of crystal, even those that are toxic, fragile, oiled or waxed. So this is the perfect method to use if you have any doubts as the quality of the crystal.
As there is no direct contact between the crystals and the water, the preparation time will be longer than the other metod.
Place in a clean coloured (brown, green or dark blue) glass bottle 1/3 crystal water to 2/3 alcohol (vodka, brandy or other spirit is best}, when sealed bottle must be airtight.
This has now become a homeopathic remedy.
The one third to two third ratio can be a teaspoon, tablespoon or a cup depending on the amount that you wish to preserve. Only make enough of the essence to last you the useful life of the essence (up to 6 months).
The best method on beginning using crystal essence is to start with small doses to be sure of the effect before progressing to the full dosage. These are the recommended dosages unless otherwise indicated.
Crystal water bath additives
Crystal water can also be used as a bath additive. The preparation process needs to be as long as possible, in order to create a very intense crystal water. Use the maximum length indicated for one litre of water and carry out the preparation of the crystal water for 12 to 24 hours for the direct method or for 18 to 24 hours for the indirect method. Add the crystal water to the bath water just before stepping into the bath. Depending on the types of crystals, you can prepare various different kinds of baths.
The crystals listed don't represent a fixed mixture, but rather a selection for you to combine following you own instincts. Make your own choices, and don't use all the crystals offered for each bath at once. One to three will be sufficient as a general rule. Choose those which appeal to you most at the time, next time you might choose a different combination.
Don't place the crystals directly in the bath water, but prepare the crystal water before hand. Their effectiveness will therefore be much greater, and the crystals will not be damaged in any way. The latter is particularly important if you are also using essential oils or other bath products. The warm water and the substances in the bath water are not good for some crystals. However, you will be able to create a wonderful sense of wellbeing with the crystal water and other bath additives.
